Wrens WOW days are spectacular!

Today we have been busy kicking off our new topic with a special ‘WOW Day’. We began by going into the hall and playing some exciting games linked to the celebration of Bonfire Night. Everyone had great fun pretending to be fireworks – jumping like rockets, spinning like Catherine wheels, and fizzing like sparklers! It was a fantastic way to start our learning and get into the spirit of the season.

We then danced to a firework song, using colourful pieces of tissue paper to represent the fireworks in the sky. We were all very good at moving to the music and making our dances sparkle! It was a fantastic way to start our new topic and celebrate Bonfire Night together.

We then got the parachute out and balls to shoot them into the sky like rockets. We absolutely loved this, and we will definitely be doing this again.

Later in the day, we went into the woodland area to create mud firework pictures. We used natural materials to design bright, explosive patterns and made some truly fabulous artwork. It was a fantastic way to end our WOW Day and celebrate Bonfire Night in a fun and creative way!
