We all had a fantastic World Book Day! It was wonderful to see children and staff dressed up as their favourite book character and we all enjoyed sharing books and stories with each other. We were very lucky to listen to live performances from children’s author and illustrator Catherine Raynor and poet and author Michael Rosen. The older children loved sharing story sacks with our younger children and we ended our day listening to stories in some of our favourite picture books.
Thank you to all the children who created their very own reading den over the half term. These were fantastic and looked very cosy. A perfect place to curl up and read a book.
