We just LOVE our natural environment!

We had GREAT fun again at Forest School!

We did some bird watching, after popping out some bird feeders last week. We tallied the birds we saw.

We also created a wormery, and collected worms for it.

We also measured the length of the worms.

We will be observing these for a short period of time, and then releasing them back into their natural environment.

We then finished off by gathering some  items of interest from our natural environment, and placing these into a plastic beaker. We then filled it with water and we have left them outside  to hopefully freeze. We shall be monitoring these over the next few days, and discussing any changes. If they freeze, we shall tip them out and admire our frozen natural art!
