War Poetry

Wow! Snowy Owls – take a bow! Mrs. Inglis and I were overwhelmed by the children’s responses to two pieces of war poetry: “The Soldier” by Rupert Brooke and “Dulce Et Decorum Est” by Wilfred Owen. These are complex, moving poems and the level of discussion in the classroom was simply breathtaking.
