Summer term week 9

Good morning Ospreys,

I hope that you all had a lovely weekend and you’re keeping safe.

This week I would like you to continue with the Oak Academy learning for maths and English. The English is building up to writing an adventure story by the end of the week. I’d love to read some of these once they are completed. In Maths you’re looking at position and direction.

I was really impressed with the fantastic work that I received last week. A very big well done to those who are working so hard.

There are a couple of extra lessons that would be good to look at; a black lives matter one is on the PSHE section of Oak Academy. The lesson is around creating hope for the future. In Geography you will begin by studying the world’s different natural resources, defining what they are and studying what they are used for. You will finish by analysing in which countries these resources can be found.

A couple of people have said that they prefer the BBC Bitesize learning, which is completely fine. Please let me know if you’re struggling with anything though. Please continue with the Active Learn tasks, TT rockstars and reading every day.

It’s looking like it’s going to be a really good weather week, so get outside as much as you can. Why not have a go at some natural art – something similar to what we did with the Avengers logos in the Autumn term? Remember to send pictures of anything you create.

Have a lovely week.

Mrs Bratt
