In Chaffinches we held a very successful Healthy Cafe for forty three of our parents and grandparents. The children created their own Healthy Recipe Book, which they sold on the day, researched the price of making the recipes and actually made them fresh on the day. They designed the cafe space, created decorative tablecloths and festooned the cafe with exciting bunting. They greeted and served their parents and then afterwards entertained them with poetry they had written and a song all about eating Five a day to stay healthy. The parents and grandparents loved the event and the children worked so hard to make it a successful afternoon. Thank you to all the parents who participated.
