What a brilliant start to year 2 we have had! I am so proud of how well the children have settled into Chaffinches and how hard they have been working. We had our Wow day on Wednesday to launch our topic for this half term. We will be learning all about how we can ‘Save the planet’ and looking at pesky plastics. As part of our wow day we decorated some CD fish and I set the children a scrap challenge to build something out of items from the scrap store play pod. We ended up with three cars and a hospital.
