Earlier this week, Robins took part in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch and spent the afternoon looking for a variety of different birds. We made a tally chart of how many we saw. We also decided to help the birds during this particularly cold spell of weather, by making some bird feeders. It was a bit messy but great fun. We used pine cones, bird seed and lard to make them some tasty treats. It was a lovely afternoon outside in the winter sunshine. We saw several blackbirds, sparrows, magpies and even a seagull. We were very happy because we also spotted a robin!
