Robins launched their new topic about Italy with a visit to a Pizza restaurant where they were taught how to make authentic, individual pizzas by a real life pizzaiolo (pizza chef). The children had great fun making Margherita pizzas and had even more fun eating them!

After having had a lovely lunch, we were ready to venture out in the rain to the Botanical Gardens. Despite the weather, we had lots of fun searching for different plants and exploring different areas of the gardens. The children used their super map-reading skills to find the Peter Pan statue, the Bear Pit as well as visiting the spectacular glasshouses.
