Pirate Day – Wrens Final Event

We had great fun on ‘Pirate Day’ to bring our topic to a close.

We all came dressed as pirates, and used the accessories we had made at school.

We made our own hooks, hats and telescopes.

We then played some pirate related games. Our particular favourite was called Catch the Cannon Ball. This game involved tossing water-filled cannonballs— balloons back and forth, trying not to drop them and get soaked.

We also made some pirate biscuits, and sold these to Year 1 and 2 too.

We ended our day by searching for hidden treasure, the perfect way to cap off our adventure.
