The Golden Eagles and Snowy Owls had a fabulous day at the National Space Centre in Leicester.
We were amazed by how much there was to see and do – highlights included an Apollo Lunar Lander, Helen Sharman’s launch couch and space suit and even a genuine piece of moon rock!
The children loved having the opportunity to see a film in the UK’s largest planetarium and our day ended with a brilliant live show all about rocket science.
We were so impressed with the children’s behaviour, knowledge and enthusiasm. What a great visit!
