What an amazing term Merlins and Ospreys have had. Our novel study has been Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. The children have written their own narratives, descriptions of characters and settings, and letters about their visit. Both classes had a great visit to the Harry Potter Studio Tour last month: what an amazing day they had!
For our final event, the children planned their own Harry Potter day. The children dressed up as their favourite Harry Potter character, made different potions, played a version of quidditch, followed the Marauder’s map to solve clues, and had a feast in their Great Hall. They all had a fantastic day!
