Merlins visit to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park

Merlins and Ospreys visited the Yorkshire Wildlife Park on the 26th September 2012.  The children got to see lions, tigers, meercats, cheetahs and many more animals and learnt about how adapt to their environment. They also got chance to touch snakes and a lizard as well as exploring lions’ claws, camel fur and an ostrich egg!

We all loved looking at the meercats and watching them get fed. Libbi’s hat was nearly included in their menu!

Sketching the lions.

Merlins had a fantastic day out!!
