Merlins looking after their environment!

It was another great Forest Schools lesson with lots of learning taking place.  After playing some fun team games, the children learned how to make ‘Seed bombs’ in order to fill our Wild Area with beautiful flowers to attracts the insects.  Merlins also dug out an area around our Bee Garden, which they then added compost and then sprinkled seeds and put some plants in: these will also help to attract insects to this area.

Finally, the children went on a Bug Hunt around our school grounds: they found many of them in their habitats, including spiders, centipedes, caterpillars and dragon flies.
