Parents and carers were all invited to attend our ‘Beside the Sea’ event on Friday the 18th July. We thought this would be a fun and exciting way to end the summer term. Everyone seemed to be having a whale of time, well until the good old British weather ended our fun!
We welcomed the parents and carers with a couple of action songs and Wrens showed up in their sunglasses. They did look good, shame about the weather!
The children then went with their parents/carers to explore our ‘Beside the Sea’ themed activities. Here are a few of the activities that were on offer….
Our ‘Human Fruit Machine’ was a real winner!
Win a prize every time on our very own ‘Hook a fish’
Our very own ‘Beach Volleyball’ (well grass, but don’t tell them!)
‘Mini-Golf’ anyone?
Our ‘Seaside Trail’, which was fun for all…..
Hungry anyone?
Well no fish and chips, but we did have our very own seaside themed buns and biscuits. All of our refreshments were served with a lovely smile, as you can see!
Children also had the opportunity to take home a seaside souvenir.
Thanks to everyone that attended our event. It ‘SHORE WAS FUN!!!
