Boomwhacker Fun – Tried and Tested Once – Round 2

Before half term, we had another go at using the Boomwhackers. We split into groups and used our musical skills to play ‘The Happy Birthday’ song. It was actually someone’s birthday too!

Miss Fisher, also passed our classroom, as we were using the Boomwhackers, and she popped her head into our class to say how good we were. She could even tell us which song we had just played.

Prior to this, we experimented with the Boomwhackers to find out which ones made a higher/lower pitch. We found that the longer a tube is, the lower its pitch; the shorter a tube is, the higher the pitch.

Testing the Boomwhackers out to identify which ones make a higher/lower pitch.
