In Merlins, we have been learning about some great artists: Van Gogh, Monet and O’Keeffe. We have painted backgrounds for some artwork based on Greek gods, where we chose which artist had inspired us to paint: these turned out great!
As part of our science work on plants, we studied petunias and other plants in some detail. In our art lesson, we then created our own masterpieces inspired by the artist, Georgia O’Keeffe, who was famous for her dramatic paintings of flowers. Our artwork is great and we are very proud of it: I think you’ll agree and see why we’re proud!
