Merlins and Ospreys loved their Wow Day on Tuesday and are all so excited about their new topic: The Science Fair.
In the morning, the children took part in a forensic science workshop. They played the role of detectives and searched for clues left by the criminal. They looked at fingerprints, chromatography and chemical reactions. The children were very successful and were able to catch the scientific criminal.
Our Wow Day then continued into the afternoon. The children were split into groups and took it in turns to carry out some fun, messy and very smelly science experiments! Our wow day ended with the Coke and Mentos experiment, which the children loved!
We are really looking forward to this term in Merlins and Ospreys and cannot wait to showcase all our work at our final
event.
