Chaffinches’ class hosted a Healthy Cafe this term and they were able to invite thier parents and grandparents. It involved creating a recipe book to provide the recipes for the cafe and then all morning was spent preparing the delicious food and smoothies.
The hall was then transformed into an amazing french cafe with the food laid out and the tables decorated by the children themselves.
The children sold their recipe book, place mats and clay fruit models they had made.
The children then enjoyed serving their guests and entertaining them with french songs, poems and riddles. We really enjojed the day.
